Cook in Captain Kirk’s Clubhouse Kitchen. You can have our driver stop at the supermarket (“CCC,” a lot like a Safeway) in La Paz on your way from the airport and stock up. Each Cabana Trailer also has its own refrigerator and well-equipped kitchen (yes, they all have coffee makers, but bring your own coffee, since Baja coffee is very poor quality.)
We anticipate a few more restaurants opening this season and will “dial you in” when you get to La Ventana.
There are 4 convenience stores within 10 minutes, with convenience food and drinks, some with bottled water, fresh produce and liquor.
Prices are very reasonable in La Ventana, dinner is typically $3 to $10 per person. American cash is accepted, but no credit cards or traveler’s checks. Most restaurants serve tacos (beef, chicken, fish, and shrimp), burgers, and very fresh seafood entrees for dinner (Shrimp, Clams, Dorado, Snapper, Cabrilla, etc.). Service is slow by most standards but the food is usually worth the wait, so relax & enjoy your drink, you’re on Baja Time !
