It’s cheap & easy to get to Captain Kirk’s, La Ventana:

Just fly to Cabo, rent a car, & it’s less than a 2-hour drive, with well maintained paved roads the whole way.

Flying to La Paz leaves only a 45 minute drive or shuttle ride, but airfare & rental cars can be more expensive, & you'll usually miss the windy part of both travel days.

Flights to Cabo are more reasonably priced & well timed (early arrivals & late departures), because many major airlines fly to the San Jose del Cabo international airport, including Aeromexico, Alaska, America West, American, Continental, Delta, Mexicana, etc. Our guests report that it’s usually impossible to beat the fares, availability, & flight connections from Perone Travel (310) 833-2401. That often requires advance purchase, so call for pricing today.

Rental cars in Cabo are reasonably priced because many major rental car agencies are there, including Alamo, Avis, Budget, National, etc. Reservations are very strongly recommended. Our guests report that unless it’s a holiday, they can get a better price by asking each agency to beat their reservation price! Below are more ground travel details & options:

SHUTTLE:
We can pre-arrange a door-to-door airport (or bus station) shuttle for guests - the guest must pay the driver directly $70USD with Cash, ($140 for Cabo) each way, per group (up to 4 people, $10 per extra person. 8 maximum).  He will meet you outside  baggage claim with a “Captain Kirk's” sign & take you directly to your lodging at the beach. For a good tip he'll make a quick stop in La Paz at the Walmart so you can stock up on any special items you may  need for your stay. Otherwise you can just go to any of  the local La Ventana mini-markets or restaurants that are  near our resort.

From the Cabo Airport: The shuttle price is $280 round-trip, so it is usually better to use a rental car or  bus.  Details below.
