There
are 4 convenience stores within 10 minutes, with convenience
food and drinks, some with bottled water, fresh produce and
liquor. Each lodging option has its own fridge & coffee
maker.
Prices are very reasonable in La Ventana, dinner is typically
$3 to $10 per person. American cash is accepted, but no credit
cards or traveler's checks. Most restaurants serve tacos (beef,
chicken, fish, and shrimp), burgers, and very fresh seafood
entrees for dinner (Shrimp, Clams, Dorado, Snapper, Cabrilla,
etc.). Service is slow by most standards but the food is usually
worth the wait, so relax & enjoy your drink, you're on Baja
